Certification and more

Gaston Schul Group is a certified Economic Operator (AEO) in the Netherlands, Germany and
Belgium. As certified operator, we are a customs approved and authorized broker. The AEO
Certification offers many advantages in international trade, for instance, with fewer delays at customs clearance. Companies must, however, meet strict customs and security requirements.

The Netherlands Association for Forwarding and Logistics (FENEX) is a trade association for the forwarding sector. The FENEX guarantee fund will – in certain cases – pay out any possible financial losses to clients of FENEX members in case of bankruptcy. Gaston Schul Group has been an active FENEX member for many years already. The owner/director of Gaston Schul Group is on the FENEX board.


CLECAT was established in 1958. Based in Brussels it represents the interests of more than 19000 European companies in the logistics, freight forwarding and customs services industries. CLECAT has 20 national member organizations (including FENEX). The owner/director of Gaston Schul Group is on the CLECAT board.

TLN stands for the Dutch Association for Transport and Logistics. It is the largest and most prominent lobby organization in the Dutch road transport and logistics sector. TLN is a strong lobbyist in The Hague and Brussels. TLN's strong position is due to the know-how and expertise of the association’s members in the area of transport and logistics. The owner/director of Gaston Schul Group is on the TLN board.

Gaston Schul Group – as independent customs broker – is interested in the logistics processes of our clients. Many of these clients are member of EVO. In total, EVO members are responsible for over 80% of all shipments in the Netherlands.

ACN is the industry association for the air cargo sector in the Netherlands. ACN’s main objective is the development of the Dutch air cargo industry in the broadest possible manner.

BIM is the association of companies located in the Moerdijk seaport area (Bedrijvenkring Industrieterrein Moerdijk). Over 90% of the companies located here are member. BIM represents the interests of its members in the broadest possible manner.

Venlo Freight Village is a logistics platform for the Venlo region. Best practices and experiences are exchanged in an informal, network setting. Goal is to stimulate logistics initiatives and to initiate collective projects that benefit all participants.

Logistiek Centrum Hazeldonk Meer is an association for the management of the industrial estate including park management. LCHM aims to represent the interests of its members in the broadest possible manner and to improve on site working circumstances for employees.
