Britannia and Gaston Schul: UK/EU Joint Approach for Strategic Account Solutions
Beginning in the first Brexit turmoil two years ago, customs solutions experts Britannia Bureau and Gaston Schul have built a powerful and unique ‘one stop shop approach’ for large strategic customers with high volume transactions. Through systems innovation and investment in people and premises, together the companies can provide an even stronger, fully joined up European customer service team to help ease the Brexit transition and navigate the complexities of international trade and supply chain issues – on both sides of the Channel.
Both companies continue to operate on an independent basis. This has always been the backbone of our industry; using the best of both worlds whilst remaining neutral – a unique selling point in our cooperation.
Britannia’s new move to the impressive DP World London Gateway Port situates the partnership perfectly for modern logistics challenges and enables future growth for its expanding team. With London Gateway bidding for freeport status after the UK’s exit from the EU and recent investments in technology innovations, Britannia is well placed to fulfil the requirements of strategic business as well as Customs Bureau operations.
Gaston Schul’s recent expansion to the UK is another good example of the unique selling point in our cooperation. Gaston Schul acquired MRF Customs Clearance Ltd situated near the Port of Grimsby, Gaston Schul’s “Next Level” growth strategy. From Grimsby, Gaston Schul Customs Ltd is now able to offer UK-based cross-border customs and international trade services.
Britannia and Gaston Schul are very proud of what their joined expertise can offer on end to end support throughout Europe and the UK, as well as providing value added solutions covering areas such as Brexit contingency, AEO, classification reviews and neutral and independent supply chain management.
